“This is a smokey neighborhood. I've never lived in a neighborhood so safe as this, so we spend a lot of warm nights grilling. In the summer, we smell a lot of barbeques. In the autumn, our old trees smell of turning leaves and most streets in the evening smell of smoke from all of the chimneys where people inside were inspired by the changing weather to cozy up inside by their fireplace. Living this close to downtown, we eat a lot of Torch Burgers and La Familia tacos. I miss Rizzo's, and probably own my fair share of YaYa's.” – Melodee Mabbitt
